Presentation of Key Concepts and SkillsWhat is a wiki?
A wiki is a web site that visitors can become a participant. They can create or edit the actual site contents without any special technical knowledge or tools. All that is needed is a computer with an Internet connection. Users can asynchronously edit the content that is visible on the page. A wiki can be public or private and changes made by users are tracked so that anyone can see who made what changes when. A wiki can be as simple as one webpage, or it can be a complex structure of multiple webpages and weblinks. Wikis can be frequently used for collaborative projects.
